Can you answer these questions succinctly while inspiring others with your story? Do you fully connect all of your professional experiences to express your uniqueness? Or do you compartmentalise different roles, experiences and learnings?
Most people limit themselves or overly identify with their jobs rather than who they are as individuals doing a job or selling themselves short by only sharing part of who they are. This might sound abstract, but connecting the seemingly disparate parts of our lives through our career stories is an empowering experience. Storytelling connects people.
In this interactive session, we'll:
- Identify pivotal moments and influences in your career.
- Learn how to connect one career chapter to the next.
- Create a 50-100-word version of your story following a series of prompts.
We'll conclude by having each participant share their story in one minute and get peer feedback.
